Sterile thin-gauge lancets are single-use skin-puncture devices intended for obtaining small capillary blood samples for compatible point-of-care testing. The thin needle profile is designed for quick finger-stick sampling when used with an appropriate technique or compatible lancing device, depending on the lancet design.
