The BD MZ5310 MaxZero Extension Set is a sterile pressure-rated standard bore IV extension set designed for medication administration, vascular access management, and contrast media delivery with compatible low-pressure power injectors. This configuration includes one removable MaxZero needle-free connector, one slide clamp, a Spin Male Luer Lock connector, a 7-inch standard bore tubing length, and a 0.5 mL priming volume. The extension set is not made with DEHP and is intended for professional healthcare use.
The pressure-rated construction supports use with compatible low-pressure power injectors up to 325 psi with a maximum flow rate of 10 mL/sec. The removable MaxZero needle-free connector offers added flexibility for line management and connector replacement when appropriate according to facility protocols.
