Sharing the Love at Nuzzles & Co

Supporting the Organizations That Care for Utah’s Animals

For more than three decades, Nuzzles & Co. has helped animals across Utah receive the care they need and find permanent homes. Since 1990, the organization has helped more than 27,000 dogs and cats find loving homes and continues to place around 1,200 animals each year.

During our recent visit, we had the opportunity to learn more about their work, their current medical supply needs, and how Globus Relief can continue supporting their mission.

Providing More Than a Second Chance

Every animal that comes through Nuzzles & Co. requires more than a safe place to stay. Their team provides veterinary exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter surgeries, microchipping, and additional treatment when needed.

Each year, their veterinary team performs more than 3,200 spay and neuter surgeries and administers over 7,000 vaccinations. Keeping up with this level of care requires a consistent supply of medical products and equipment.

Globus Relief has supported Nuzzles & Co. with supplies including surgical instruments and devices, surgical tables, storage cabinets, gloves, and syringes. Their team continues to reorder critical supplies one to two times each month, with ongoing needs for surgical consumables, surgical glue, syringes, and other veterinary medical supplies.

Making Local Resources Go Further

One of Globus Relief’s goals is to make sure usable medical supplies do not go to waste when there are nonprofit organizations that can put them to use.

For Nuzzles & Co., donated supplies mean fewer resources have to be spent purchasing medical products and more can go toward veterinary care, rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption.

We are grateful to continue supporting Nuzzles & Co. and the work they are doing for animals and families throughout Utah. Partnerships like this show how donated medical resources can make a difference throughout our local communities.
